About

Thank you for visiting!

My name is Seth Pumilia. I am a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, and am the co-owner, drum instructor, and recording assistant at Clean Beats Studios. I have been playing and performing on the drums for 16 years. As I approach my 6th year of teaching professionally, I am ecstatic to be able to teach my students and record music for aspiring artists in such a wonderful environment.

Throughout my lifetime, I have been fortunate to learn from some of the best percussionists in the Philadelphia and Boston areas, as well as around the world. I was taught to be diligent in my practicing, confident while performing, and always have fun. There are many music educators that take an almost military approach to teaching. While this may be good for some students, it isn't the answer for others. Every lesson must be planned and designed around the skill set of each individual, as well as their personality.  Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced level player, I promise that I will be able to hone your skill set and get your playing to the next level, while having fun all along the way.

Clean Beats Studios was built back in 2006. Over the years, several bands have been able to rehearse, and create quality recordings of their music here. In 2017 we completely renovated the space, adding new recording equipment to the control room, restocking all the soundproofing, as well as adding a Taye Pro X Series drum set for lessons. In 2018 the, studio has come alive with multiple bands rehearsing weekly, recording and laying down pre-production, and several drum set and percussion students visiting every week.

We are located in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and ready to get you to "Drum Smart!"
